The initial concept was draught out in the meeting held between representatives of DASO and the Carnival Committee.
As there was no current site, it was suggested that DASO create the complete visual theme.
The specification was to allow easy updates to the site and to allow users to submit their own content for inclusion within the pages.
As the project was to be viewed by all age groups, DASO advised the committee that a buffer was employed to allow validation from a committee member before adding to the website. To this end we created forms to allow visitors to add their comments and send pictures. The forms were then sent to an allocated committee member for verification.
The actual content is added to the website via the D-CMS solution which was configured for this deployment.
The modules employed are the NEWS, GALLERY, COMMENT and SPONSORS.
